Brandt Beef to Participate in Auction Napa Valley

Acclaimed Natural Beef Producer Donates Product to the Most Renowned Charity Wine Auction in the United States

BRAWLEY, CA--(Marketwire - June 4, 2007) - Brandt Beef - The True Natural, a family owned, premium natural beef producer, has been selected to provide the entrée for this year's Auction Napa Valley Dinner, the centerpiece of this charity event. Established by the Napa Valley Vintners more than 25 years ago, Auction Napa Valley has given nearly $70 million to healthcare, youth service and low-income housing charities in Napa County.

The four-day event will begin on Thursday, June 7 with vintners throughout Napa Valley hosting pre-auction parties and open houses. On Friday, June 8, the finest food and wine purveyors from Napa Valley will gather at Trinchero Family Estates for a tasting event and barrel auction.

The auction continues Saturday, June 9 with a reception at Meadowood Napa Valley. The evening will feature hors d'oeuvres by Michael Chiarello, chef/host of Food Network's "Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello," winemaker and founder of NapaStyle; a welcome by comedian Dana Carvey; a multi-course dinner with beef donated by Brandt Beef and prepared by several of Napa Valley's top chefs including: Hiro Sone and Lissa Doumani of Terra and Ame, Richard Reddington of Restaurant Redd, Peter Hall, Sarah Scott, Paul Lemieux of Auberge du Soleil, and Vincent Nattress and Joseph Humphrey of Meadowood Napa Valley. The event will culminate on Sunday, June 10 with a farewell reception and brunch at Trinchero Family Estates.
