Breakthrough Television Series "The Tudors" Earns Two Golden Globe Award Nominations for Peace Arch Entertainment, Showtime and TM Productions

Nominations for Best Dramatic Series and Best Actor for Jonathan Rhys Myers Provide Further Validations for Top-Quality Television Content

(AMEX: PAE) (TSX: PAE), an integrated global entertainment company creating critically acclaimed television, film and DVD content for worldwide distribution, announced today that the Company's television series "The Tudors" received two Golden Globe® Award nominations on December 13 from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association®. "The Tudors" received nominations for "Best Dramatic Television Series" and "Best Actor in a Dramatic Series" for Jonathan Rhys Myers' portrayal of a young and seductive King Henry VIII. Critically acclaimed, "The Tudors" is co-produced by Peace Arch Entertainment and TM Productions in association with The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Showtime Networks Inc.

The presentation of the "65th Annual Golden Globe Awards" will be telecast live in the U.S. on NBC Television at 8 PM EST on Sunday, January 13th, 2008. The show will be seen in more than 150 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Golden Globe Awards serve to recognize outstanding achievements and focus wide public attention upon the best in motion pictures and television.

Earlier this year, "The Tudors" was honored with two Creative Emmy® Awards from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The Emmy Awards were given for "Outstanding Costumes for a Series" and "Outstanding Original Movie Title Theme Music."
