Broadcore Announces Broadcore Call Center

Hosted Solution Saves Up to 45% Over Premises-Based Products; Offers Endpoint Agnostic, Multi-Location Support, and Disaster Recovery Features

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - December 9, 2009) - Broadcore, a provider of hosted unified communications service for businesses, announced Broadcore Call Center, a hosted solution for customer contact centers with robust feature set, multi-location support, and advanced disaster recovery capabilities. According to the Yankee Group, hosted call centers save up to 45% of the total cost of ownership over premises-based solutions. "Broadcore Call Center significantly reduces costs related to deploying and maintaining a call center while maintaining rich features and functionality," said Dean Manzoori, Broadcore EVP of Marketing Strategy. "The solution supports virtual agents and enables supervisors to manage queues online with real-time dashboard and comprehensive statistical reports."

Broadcore Call Center eliminates initial costs associated with purchasing and deploying equipment and application software, and it removes any maintenance overhead for its business customers. System updates and maintenance are performed automatically without any disruption to normal business processes.

Administrative, queue, and service level management functions are supported from any location with Internet access. A configurable web portal allows administrators to add, delete or change call center agents, supervisors, queues, routing policies and IVR trees without VPN, remote desktop, or firewall restrictions. Real-time or historical reports for queue performance, queue service level, agent utilization, and agent statistics are available in both graphical and numerical reports.

Broadcore Call Center provides integrated real-time status and presence for agents and supervisors in multiple locations. Fully redundant equipment and software applications in Broadcore's geographically redundant data centers ensure business continuity and remote survivability.

The solution supports a variety of diverse voice endpoints including standard SIP telephones such as Cisco, Ploycom, and Aastra phones as well as soft-phones, mobile phones, SIP-based analog adapters, and cordless phones.
