Broncus Technologies, Inc. Closes $29.5 Million

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 30, 2006 -- Broncus Technologies, Inc. announced today that it has closed a $29.5 million round of Series F venture funding from a broad, international syndicate of new and existing investors, including Abingworth, Biomedical Sciences Investment Fund, Bio-Star, HBM BioCapital, HBM BioVentures, Japan Asia Investment Co (JAIC), Menlo Ventures, Pac-Link, Rockport Ventures, Saratoga Ventures and Sightline Ventures.
