Bryan Texas Utilities Selects Cayenta, a Subsidiary of Constellation Software's Harris Subsidiary, as its Customer Information and Billing Solution

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 29, 2007) - Harris Computer Systems ("Harris"), a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX:CSU) is pleased to announce that Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU) has selected Cayenta Utilities, a wholly owned subsidiary of Harris, as its customer information and billing solution for BTU's 45,000 central Texas customers.

BTU is a community owned municipality that has electrical generation along with transmission delivery, and distribution services. BTU's service territory covers approximately 800 square miles in Brazos, Burleson and Robertson counties; the company also handles billing of water, sewer and solid waste components. Bryan Texas Utilities' mission is "to give its customers exceptional service with reliable, competitively priced electricity while acting as a responsible and caring member of the community."

After careful consideration, BTU has evaluated the status of its existing customer information system and has decided to replace it with the more flexible, cost-effective and comprehensive Cayenta Utilities solution.

Based on the current implementation schedule, Cayenta Utilities is expected Go Live in 2008.
