Burton Group Expands IT Executive Advisory Team

Former CIO to Provide Executive-Level IT Insight to Burton Group Clients

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - October 9, 2007) - Burton Group has added Jack Santos as an Executive Strategist to its Executive Advisory team, a group that provides Burton Group's research and advisory clients resources and council to drive both the strategy and execution of IT initiatives.

Santos's background includes a deep history in IT and business operations, most notably, his expertise as an agent of change, has helped struggling enterprise IT organizations quickly assess critical issues and develop plans to successfully address those issues.

Santos brings to Burton Group 28 years of experience in IT strategy and leadership helping enterprises with system developments, application architecture, and business technology planning. Most recently, he performed duties as VP and CIO at Magellan Associates providing interim CIO services to IT organizations in need of realignment. Prior to Magellan Associates, Santos served two and a half years at Catholic Medical Center as VP and CIO where he was responsible for implementing computing infrastructure, clinical applications, architecture, and developing wireless infrastructure. He was also an Enterprise Technology Officer for Liberty Mutual Group.
