Butterflies Float Into Extraordinary View in Mark Siddall's Latest Exhibit

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 8, 2009) - Wing your way to the Mark Siddall Gallery for photographer Mark Siddall's latest exhibit, Butterflies, and enjoy the chance to regard these ancient insects from brilliantly close range.

Butterflies will run from September 9 to October 3, with an opening reception on Wednesday, September 16, from 6 to 10 p.m.

In his latest effort, this award-winning photographer turns his lens on one of the world's most delicate, mysterious creatures. Siddall's photos are a glorious tribute to the variety of these lovely Lepidoptera, and feature the big and the small; the spotted and the blotched; the modest and the most wildly flamboyant.

This exquisite photographic celebration invites visitors to remember what it was like to notice a butterfly; to let its floating, colour-blocked presence drift into your consciousness-and change you.

Stir your wings and visit Butterflies, the latest show to alight at this north-Toronto space.
