Buzzwire(TM) Names Motorola Veteran Rob Strong Vice President of Consumer Design


BOSTON, MA and DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - October 31, 2007) - Buzzwire, Inc., a mobile media company, today announced the addition of Rob Strong as Vice President of Consumer Design. A well-respected veteran in platform and product design, Strong's addition to Buzzwire's management team further enhances the company's focus on unique customization and innovative content services for the mobile consumer. Strong will be based out of Buzzwire's Denver office.

Strong, an accomplished interactive designer and product developer, joined Buzzwire from Motorola, where he served as director of user interface (UI). Throughout his tenure at Motorola, Strong held several senior positions, including senior manager of Asia user interface & interactive media where he was responsible for managing both Asian and North American interactive design teams and the core UI of Motorola. He also created deep design opportunities with internal and external design partners, which fostered innovation within the UI presentation layer and the physical handset. Prior to Motorola, Strong served as interactive design lead for Thomson Multimedia. In this role, he was responsible for creating the media experience as well as developing and implementing the information architecture for the electronic program guide, browser and interactive setup system.
