Byram Healthcare Implements Microsoft Dynamics® GP Financial Software From CGS

Replaces Legacy Accounting System to Gain Important New Capabilities and Integration Benefits

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - August 26, 2010) -  Computer Generated Solutions, Inc. (CGS) is pleased to announce that medical supplies, services, and support leader Byram Healthcare (Byram) has successfully implemented the Microsoft Dynamics GP financial management software solution at its White Plains, NY offices. Following a short 90-day implementation process led by CGS, the new system went live in 2010 with accounts payable (AP), fixed asset (FA) and general ledger (GL) capabilities to replace the company's legacy accounting software system. The new system has been integrated with payroll and banking software at Byram to streamline and improve cash management.

Backed by Microsoft, the Dynamics GP solution has enabled Byram to quickly import their Excel®-based budget information to generate highly accurate budget-to-actual comparison reports using the system's reporting module. The integrated FRx for Microsoft Dynamics financial reporting and analysis software allowed Byram to quickly and efficiently recreate existing reports in the new software. The SmartList Builder provided a simple, effective means of exporting system inquiry data to Excel or Word®. CGS also used Mekorma Software's magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) technology and MICR Check Printing tools to format and enable generation of printed, signed and bank approved checks in the Byram system. The built-in Integration Manager tool enables Byram to effectively integrate with external systems such as ADP® and various banking tools for both import and export of payroll and other financial information.

Byram Healthcare Controller Margo Mattice commented that Byram is pleased with the support that CGS provided to ensure an on-time implementation and go-live schedule. "The easy-to-use Microsoft functionality enabled our team to transition quickly to the new system and see a steady increase in productivity. Microsoft® Dynamics has enabled us to easily integrate with our banking partners and take advantage of electronic transaction capabilities."

The Microsoft Dynamics GP solution provides Byram with a number of new or enhanced capabilities over Byram's previous accounting software. Key among these capabilities are the integrated eBanking tools that enable Byram to benefit from Safe Pay (Positive Pay), electronic fund transfers and bank reconciliation features available from our banking partners.

According to CGS Vice President Dynamics Consulting Mathilde Sanson, "We salute Byram Healthcare on their successful implementation and accelerated speed-to-benefit with Microsoft Dynamics GP. Byram will continue to increase their benefits from this highly productive, easy to use solution for many years to come. With all the improvements they have realized in just 90-days, we believe that they can serve as inspiration for the many other businesses that are limited by systems that lack today's important features and integration capabilities."

CGS has deep domain experience in the healthcare service industry with more than 15 customers running their financials on Microsoft Dynamics. Microsoft Dynamics GP has proven itself as a flexible, powerful business management solution with more than 40,000 customers in a wide range of industries.
