CA Institute President Visits Sudbury December 1

Discussing CAs role in a changing economy

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 30, 2009) - The President and CEO of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario is highlighting the role of the CA profession in today's challenging economic environment when he visits Hamilton on December 1. Rod Barr, FCA, is available to provide background on the changing legislative and economic landscape in Ontario, from both the Bay Street to Main Street perspectives.

Among the CAs for Change topics Mr. Barr can address are:

  • The fall-out from the international economic turmoil and how CAs are responding.
  • The Agreement on Internal Trade and the need for nationally consistent public accounting qualification standards to maintain our international trading partner commitments.
