CHD Meridian Healthcare to Open New Pharmacy for General Dynamics Electric Boat Employees, Retirees and Family Members

CHADDS FORD, PA--(Marketwire - October 2, 2007) - CHD Meridian Healthcare, an I-trax, Inc. company (AMEX: DMX) opened a new pharmacy located in North Kingstown, RI, for General Dynamics Electric Boat employees, retirees and their dependents. Officials from CHD Meridian and Electric Boat participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony today at the pharmacy.

The dedicated pharmacy reflects a national trend to provide workplace-based healthcare services that provide value and savings. The benefits also extend to employee dependents and to retirees covered by Electric Boat's health plans. The new Electric Boat pharmacy will serve some 5,000 people in the area.

"The establishment of this pharmacy is an important part of Electric Boat's comprehensive health and wellness initiative," said Electric Boat President John P. Casey. "Our goal is to provide greater convenience, lower costs both for employees and the company, and an opportunity for our team members to work closely with an expert pharmacist who will be an important part of their individual health and wellness plan."

A National Trend at Work

Large employers are increasingly taking direct control of pharmacy benefits for their employees through on-site pharmacies. Management team members recognize advantages for companies and employees alike -- increased worker productivity and satisfaction among participating employees, and cost savings for the employer. CHD Meridian Healthcare, who will oversee operations at the Electric Boat Family Pharmacy, is the largest provider of on-site healthcare services in the country.

"We're pleased to be working with Electric Boat to provide a dedicated pharmacy for their employees. Our company operates and manages employer-sponsored pharmacies as well as other on-site healthcare at more than 230 locations nationwide," said R. Dixon Thayer, chief executive officer of CHD Meridian Healthcare. "The workplace is providing a viable venue to deliver healthcare and we are serving more than a million of our clients' employees nationwide."

Opened at the beginning of September, the Electric Boat Family Pharmacy is centrally located in North Kingstown and includes a modern facility and an experienced staff dedicated entirely to the Electric Boat population.
