WALTHAM, MA and SOUTHBOROUGH, MA--(Marketwire - November 26, 2007) - CHEN PR and Network World
today announced they will once again partner to sponsor a holiday
fundraiser for the American Red Cross. All funds raised at the December 3rd
event, "Everyday Heroes: Celebrating the American Red Cross," will benefit
the American Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay MetroWest Area.
The American Red Cross MetroWest supports 1 million people in 36 cities and
towns with an array of invaluable programs. Last year alone, the group
distributed 23,489 bags of groceries to families in need and responded to
58 disasters, fires, floods and gas leaks, aiding 363 children and adults
with lodging, food, clothing and medicine. More than 1,500 children in need
received holiday gifts and toys.
John Gallant, president and editorial director of Network World, said, "Our
local technology companies understand that they're part of our local
community... and they're always ready to step up to the plate. Along with
CHEN PR, we're thankful for their continued support of the Red Cross and
look forward to a great event."
Chris Carleton, principal at CHEN PR, said, "The CHEN PR/Network World
annual fundraisers have raised more than $25,000 for the Red Cross. We
