CNSI Awarded $32M Telecommunications Contract

ROCKVILLE, MD--(Marketwire - November 24, 2008) - CNSI today announced that it has been selected to provide lab-wide telecommunications support services for Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). The competitively-bid, small business set-aside contract is valued at $32 million with a three year base period of performance and two option years.

CNSI will operate and maintain the Los Alamos Integrated Communication System (LAICS), including engineering, system upgrades, enhancements and additions. CNSI has assumed operational responsibilities, replacing the previous contractor, Qwest Government Services, Inc.

"CNSI is pleased to have received the LAICS award and looks forward to working in partnership with LANL to continue and improve the high quality services that LANL has been accustomed to," says Chuck Sharrocks, Vice President of CNSI's Energy practice. "We know that our extensive experience in both voice and data systems will assist LANL in meeting their future challenges."

"Los Alamos National Laboratory is looking forward to this extended partnership with CNSI," said Acquisition Services Management (ASM) Division Leader, Kevin Chalmers. "We appreciate CNSI's capabilities and are confident they will provide the services needed for this critical piece of the LANL infrastructure."
