CORRECTION FROM SOURCE/Note to Editors: Canadian Space Agency

LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 30, 2009) - A correction from source is being issued with respect to the release sent on November 30th at 3:51 PM EST. In the second paragraph, it should read "November 30th at 22:56 ET" instead of "December 1st at 19:50 ET". The corrected version follows.

Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Robert Thirsk comes back to Earth this Tuesday aboard a Soyuz capsule along with Russian Roman Romanenko and Belgian Frank De Winne with who he has been in space since last May.

The Soyuz capsule will undock from the International Space Station on November 30th at 22:56 ET and the landing is scheduled at 02:16 ET on the steppes of Kazakhstan.

CSA will provide live coverage of the day's events with feeds in two main parts:

Morning from Kazakhstan and TSUP (Russian Mission Control):

We expect nearly-live video from the landing site with recovery team. As soon as possible, landing highlights will be fed (no earlier than 03:15 ET) and will also be posted on the CSA ftp server and CSA website.

Afternoon from Star City:

The astronauts are flown back the same day to Star City. Another feed is scheduled that should comprise further Kazakhstan landing operations and welcome ceremony plus potential interviews on board the plane with Robert Thirsk and Frank De Winne. Highlights will be sent as soon as possible (no earlier than 10:30 ET) and will also be posted on the CSA ftp server and CSA website. If Astronauts give a press conference at Star City, another live feed could happen (no earlier than 12:00 ET).

Please note that all times are subject to changes as events unfold. Please contact CSA Media Relations team at 450-926-4370 for update.

Satellite parameters are given below. Media attending the launch program at CSA headquarters will have access to this feed and to spokespersons in both official languages.
