CSCI Founder Presented With Heroines in Technology Award by Women in Technology and March of Dimes

CEO Recognized for Commitment to Community

SPRINGFIELD, VA--(Marketwire - November 5, 2007) - Women in Technology and the March of Dimes announced the 2007 recipients of its Heroines in Technology Awards. Computer Systems Center Incorporated's Linda LaRoche, who was among thirteen finalists, was recognized at the seventh annual awards dinner held at the Hyatt Regency Reston in Reston, Virginia on November 2.

LaRoche was presented with one of three corporate awards, and was recognized as a woman in the technology industry who has used her experience, knowledge and skills to benefit the local community. The black-tie gala honored women and women-run businesses for exemplary commitment to community service and winners were also announced for both individual and lifetime achievement awards.

"We are proud of our CEO and the significant contributions that she continues to make to the local community. The fact that Linda is able to do all this while balancing a demanding role in the fast-paced technology sector is a testament to her commitment to multiple philanthropic efforts," said Lara Coffee, CSCI's Vice President of Marketing Communications.

Under LaRoche's leadership CSCI actively participates in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica program each year and adopts less fortunate families during the holiday season through its "Santa's Sac" initiative. CSCI became involved with the March of Dimes WalkAmerica in 1998 and LaRoche's efforts have added to the more than $42,000 raised by the Springfield, VA community in recent years. CSCI also supports many other local charities in addition to its continued partnership with the SemperComm Foundation, a nonprofit that LaRoche founded in 2004 that provides much needed morale and welfare in the form of communications equipment to service members at remote U.S. military bases across the globe.

"CSCI is committed to supporting the local community and it is an honor and an inspiration to be in the company of so many honorees who continue to make efforts to provide for the ones in need in their local areas," said Linda LaRoche.

In July, SmartCEO magazine recognized LaRoche as one of the top 25 female entrepreneurs in the 3rd annual Bravo! Business Achievement Awards. LaRoche was chosen because of how she used her business to help benefit the community through acts of philanthropy.
