CTI Group Announces BroadSoft Validation for Call Recording

CTI Group to Showcase SmartRecord IP at BroadSoft's 5th Annual Connections Executive Users Conference

INDIANAPOLIS, IN and GAITHERSBURG, MD--(Marketwire - October 4, 2007) - CTI Group (OTCBB: CTIG), a developer of innovative VoIP telephony applications, announces that it has achieved validation of its SmartRecord IP® call recording solution on the BroadSoft BroadWorks® service platform. BroadSoft's application software includes mobile PBX, hosted PBX, business trunking for SIP-based and IP trunking. In achieving BroadSoft interoperability validation, CTI Group can provide SmartRecord IP to the BroadSoft customer base as an essential accessory to BroadSoft's VoIP application software.

"Validation with BroadSoft confirms CTI Group's delivery of robust, resilient and high-quality call recording," said Sid Rao, Chief Technology Officer for CTI Group. "SmartRecord IP underwent rigorous testing to verify its interoperability with BroadWorks. SmartRecord IP will provide BroadSoft customers with a proven and tested call recording solution that meets or exceeds their needs and fits their budgets."

The benefits of SmartRecord IP to Service Providers and their customers include:

-- The availability of a mission critical application for the customer
    that increases service provider ARPU
-- The creation of a new competitive advantage
-- Cap-ex friendly service delivery models
-- The elimination of customer premise hardware acquisition and
    maintenance costs

With SmartRecord IP, CTI Group is able to provide a simple and efficient call recording solution to BroadSoft's customer base. Once installed, provisioning SmartRecord IP to end-users is incredibly efficient. The process involves simply turning on the solution and adding a few extensions to a management interface. Furthermore, the architecture of SmartRecord IP eliminates scaling and performance concerns relating to routing and packet capturing. SmartRecord IP works on inbound and outbound calls as well as on-demand. By providing this flexibility, CTI Group is able to offer SmartRecord IP to a broad range of customers with a broad range of needs.

"CTI Group has shown it stands behind its SmartRecord IP solution by submitting it for BroadSoft's assessment testing and validation process," said Robert Weidenfeller, Vice President of Engineering for BroadSoft. "Because call recording is quickly becoming a requirement for many businesses, we are pleased to add CTI Group as a call recording option that can be seamlessly added to the BroadWork's platform."

CTI Group's SmartRecord IP is an integrated VoIP call recording solution package that offers multiple recording options with diverse flexibility to fit the specific needs of the service provider and the end user. All products in the package provide carrier grade service and technology that delivers fully redundant fault tolerance with linear scalability that may be geographically distributed. The package includes applications and options that increase flexibility and decrease cost of ownership for service providers and end users.

As a BroadSoft validated provider, CTI Group is a sponsor for BroadSoft's 5th annual Connections Executive Users Conference, scheduled for October 14th through 17th at the Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, Arizona.
