CUPE BC: Maude Barlow in Victoria November 20

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire – Nov. 16, 2009) - The public is invited to a free evening of music and discussion with Maude Barlow, Chairperson of the Council of Canadians and former senior advisor on water to the president of the UN General Assembly.

With final decisions coming soon about how sewage treatment in the CRD will be financed and operated, Maude Barlow's international experience with water and wastewater services that work for people and communities is timely.

Maude will be joined by renowned singer/songwriter Wyckham Porteous.
