Cabinet NG Releases New Version of Its Document Management and Workflow Solution, CNG-SAFE

HUNTSVILLE, AL--(Marketwire - December 8, 2009) - Cabinet NG (CNG), provider of document management and workflow software, today announced it will launch a new version of its application, CNG-SAFE (Version, which works with Microsoft Windows® 7/Microsoft Windows Server® 2008 R2 to offer customers enhanced security, as well as innovative user interface features and reliability improvements. CNG-SAFE (CNG's Shared Access Filing Environment) moves manual paper-based processes into efficient electronic workflows, resulting in increased productivity, reduced paper and money saved. Targeting the needs and budgets of the small enterprise (i.e. SMBs needing enterprise level features) CNG-SAFE helps meet compliance requirements and provides a way to achieve a scalable paperless office. Workflow is included in the base product to help businesses automate processes and dramatically improve efficiency. Document and folder workflow supports predefined rules and manual routing.

CNG-SAFE offers multiple methods of integration with existing applications. Methods range from using standard Windows features to applying the CNG-API and creating a custom integration. CNG also offers two global integration plug-ins called Synchronizer and Retriever that provide integration with virtually any Windows application without needing any engineering development. Also available is Retriever for WebApps, which supports integration with web-based applications. CNG-SAFE supports local client server and hosted SaaS models, plus the flexibility of switching between models should the customer's preference change. CNG-SAFE's filing structure mimics the physical filing environment of cabinets, folders and document separator tabs, to ensure the transition to paperless is accomplished smoothly and quickly without disrupting existing processes.
