U-16 Girls Foothills Colts

The Foothills Colts finished 1st at the Adidas Cup held in Sherwood Park, Edmonton. The final game was an overtime victory defeating London, Ontario Supernova that resulted in a 3-2 win.

U-16 Boys Elbow Valley Villains

Elbow Valley Villains topped the London, Ontario Cobras 2-0 at the Adidas Cup in Sherwood Park, Edmonton to win the Gold Medal. Glen Dobson was awarded the Golden Boot Award as top Goal Scorer.

U-14 Boys Southwest United Premier

The Southwest United Premier beat the Surrey, BC United Selects in a 4-2 win to capture a bronze medal an the Tide Cup in St John's, Newfoundland.

U-14 Girls Southwest United Juventus

Southwest United Juventus finished the Tide Cup in St John's, Newfoundland in fifth place.

Calgary Mens' Callies

Callies won their final match to clinch the Gold Medal at the 2007 Hyundai Cup, securing their 3rd Men's Club Soccer Championship in nine years.

Calgary Womens' Spirit

At the Over 35 Women's Western Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba the Calgary Spirit beat the Manitoba Wisegals 2-1 to win a Bronze Medal.


The Boys U18 Edmonton Juventus won Gold at the Sony Cup held in Fredericton, New Brunswick and the Girls U-18 Edmonton Strikers placed 5th. At the Over 35 Men's Western Masters in Winnipeg, Manitoba; Edmonton Victoria secured a Gold Medal. At the National Jubilee Trophy Tournament the Women's Edmonton Victoria placed 3rd in Halifax, Nova Scotia.


Alberta has claimed 5 Gold Medals, 3 Bronze Medals, and placed 5th twice from across Canada. Calgary leads the way with 3 Gold Medals, 2 Bronze Medals and 1 Fifth place. Calgary sent 6 teams to the National Finals with a tremendous success with 5 of the 6 teams bringing home medals. The strength of Calgary Soccer will be celebrated with a recognition event on Thursday October 11 at 5:30pm - You Rock! followed by "Flip the Switch" Grand Opening of the Calgary Soccer Centre's Newest Outdoor Lights.
