OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 9, 2009) - For the fourth consecutive year, Canada Post has made the list of Canada's Top 100 employers. The list, compiled by Mediacorp Canada Inc. and released today, selected the Top 100 out of 16,000 companies invited to participate.

To be included in the Top 100, companies must demonstrate their quality in terms of physical workplace; work and social atmosphere; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.

"The fact that Canada Post has been recognized for four years in a row demonstrates our long-term commitment to having the best-in-class employee programs and services that will continue to make us one of the best places in the country to work," said Moya Greene, President and CEO.

The complete Canada's Top 100 employers list appears in the October 8 issue of Maclean's Magazine and in the Globe and Mail Top 100 supplement, which is issued on October 9. Canada Post's profile will also be on Canada's Top 100 Employers website on October 8.
