Canadian Heritage: Secretary of State Kenney to Attend Taiwan Entrepreneurs Society Taipei/Toronto's Annual Gala

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 11, 2008) - The Honourable Jason Kenney, Secretary of State (Multiculturalism and Canadian Identity), will attend the 15th Annual Gala of the Taiwan Entrepreneurs Society Taipei/Toronto (TEST) tomorrow in Markham, Ontario. This major annual event rings in the 2008 New Year and celebrates TEST's 15th anniversary.

"People of Taiwanese heritage have long enriched Canada with their skills, knowledge, and talents," said Secretary of State Kenney. "This event gives us the opportunity to learn from each other and experience our differences, while celebrating our common Canadian identity."

Members of the Taiwanese business community residing in Ontario established TEST with the goal of enhancing friendships and business opportunities within Taiwanese communities.
