The Canadian Iceberg Vodka Corporation will launch its largest-ever cross-Canada consumer promotion to honour and aid Canadian troops and their families, announced David Hood, Senior Vice President, Canadian Iceberg Vodka Corporation.

The 'Remembering Our Heroes' campaign officially launches October 12 and runs until November 11.

The Canadian Iceberg Vodka Corporation will donate $.50 per bottle sold to The CDS Military Families Assistance Fund (current heroes) and the Last Post Fund (past heroes).

There will be over 3300 government retail run and privately owned stores participating in the promotion nationally.

"The men and women who serve in Canada's armed forces are the true definition of heroes. They fight for our freedom and the freedom of others and deserve the support and recognition for their efforts. This campaign is meant to not only raise funds for the CDS Military Families Fund and The Last Post Fund, but to genuinely show how much they are appreciated and respected," said Hood.

To honor both active and past Canadian military, Iceberg Vodka Corp. commissioned acclaimed Canadian artist David Craig to paint a montage that represents Canadian military heroes through the years. The finished artwork will be used throughout the 'Remembering Our Heroes' campaign in order to raise awareness of the drive and draw consumers to the Iceberg displays in retail stores across Canada. Posters of the montage are being made available for all Royal Canadian. Legions, military mess halls and general consumers upon request.

"The response and support of this promotion by retailers nationally has been incredibly positive. We are confident that this support will spill over to the Canadian consumers who are extremely generous when it comes to supporting Canadian troops," Hood said.
