Canfor Pulp Income Fund Reacts to Promise of Federal Aid

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 17, 2009) - Canfor Pulp Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:CFX.UN) is pleased with the federal government's response to the U.S. Black Liquor tax credit. "We understand that the details of the program are still to be determined and hope to participate in their development. As the program unfolds, we will aggressively pursue capital available to expedite projects planned for continued energy and environmental improvements," said Paul Richards, President and Chief Executive Officer of Canfor Pulp Income Fund.
