Cantronic Sells Long Range Camera System for Security Surveillance of an Alberta Oil Interest

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 11, 2007) - Cantronic Systems Inc. ("Cantronic") (TSX VENTURE:CTS) is pleased to announce the order for a long range night vision system to an Alberta oil and gas company. The system, with a retail value of $150,000 will be used for the security and surveillance of an oil terminal in the middle east gulf oil region.

A Canadian based, global energy company has purchased its initial order of the long range thermal security surveillance camera system, for added protection to their middle east oil and gas project. Since the 2004 terrorist attacks on the oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, global oil companies have continued to ratchet up the security of oil facilities.

In announcing this sale, Cantronic President/CEO James Zahn said that, "Security protection of energy facilities is quickly becoming a principal concern for oil and gas companies." Mr. Zahn also pointed out that Cantronic is pleased that their cameras are being used for the surveillance of oil pipelines, nuclear power facilities and now oil terminals.
