Cast Iron Systems Announces Strategic Reseller Relationship With CTC of Japan

Breakthrough Integration Technology Expands to Japan

TOKYO and MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 27, 2005 -- Cast Iron Systems, the most widely deployed provider of integration appliances, and ITOCHU Techno-Science Corp., announced today that CTC has agreed to become the company's Japanese reseller. Cast Iron is joining forces with one of the premier resellers in Japan to deliver a comprehensive integration solution -- the Cast Iron Systems Application Router. In recognition of the burgeoning global market for application integration appliances, CTC also became an investor in Cast Iron in March of this year.

"Cast Iron is pleased to add CTC as a key reseller in the important Japanese market, where the need to complete integration projects in a swift and cost-effective manner is widespread," said Fred Meyer, president and CEO of Cast Iron Systems. "The addition of CTC to our global reseller network represents an important milestone for Cast Iron as we continue to expand globally."

With over 20 sales offices and 100 support locations in Japan, CTC offers a comprehensive range of integration services. In conjunction with Cast Iron Systems, CTC now offers a powerful solution for customers in need of rapid application and data integration. CTC will primarily sell into the fast-growing telecom, finance and enterprise markets and is planning to leverage Cast Iron's Application Router across its integration solutions business from consulting, systems design, deployment, maintenance and ongoing support.

"In order to accommodate the demands of its customers, CTC is actively investing in new technologies and products, and have made an investment to Cast Iron as one of these activities," said CTC and ITOCHU Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, TOKYO, President & CEO: Eizo Kobayashi).

The Application Router is immediately available to customers in Japan through CTC.
