Celebrate the feast of St. Joseph at the Oratory on Friday, March 19th

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - March 18, 2010) - The novena dedicated to Saint Joseph ends on March 18 in a particularly joyful spirit. Father Patrick Vézina, CSC, Director of liturgical services at Saint Joseph's Oratory, said of this great gathering: "We have welcomed nearly 2,000 pilgrims visiting each day since March 10. Brother André's upcoming canonization, not to mention a pleasantly early spring, surely contributed to public fervour!"

Saint Joseph's Oratory invites you to join thousands of pilgrims to celebrate the feast of St. Joseph on Friday, March 19th. Three celebrations will take place in the Basilica: with Msgr Paul-André Durocher, Bishop of Alexandria Cornwall (a bilingual celebration) at 10:00 a.m.; with Msgr André Gaumond, Archbishop of Sherbrooke at 2:30 p.m. and finally, with His Eminence Cardinal Jean-Claude Turcotte, Archbishop of Montreal, at 7:30 p.m. Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal (boy choir) will assist the singing of these masses with Philippe Bélanger at the organ. A bilingual celebration will also be celebrated at 8:00 p.m. in the Crypt Church, with the preacher of this year's novena, Father Yoland Ouellet, OMI.
