Celeste Copper Corporation Announces Change in Management

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 6, 2009) - The Board of Directors of Celeste Copper Corporation ("Celeste" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:C) regrets to announce that, effective July 6, 2009, Mr. Mark Eldridge has resigned from the Board of Directors of the Company and that Mr. David McQuaig has, effective July 10, 2009, resigned from the Board of Directors and from his position as Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

The Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Erich Boechler to act as Interim Chief Financial Officer to be effective from July 10, 2009 until such time that Celeste finds a suitable replacement for Mr. McQuaig. Mr. Boechler is a member of the Board of Directors of the Company.
