Centurion Announces New Director

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 28, 2009) - Centurion Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:CTN) ("Centurion" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. Alfred Lenarciak has accepted a position as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company effective immediately. Mr. Lenarciak has an engineering background and more than 20 years experience in the financial industry which includes considerable expertise in financing natural resource companies. He is a former chairman of Minorca Resources Inc., and a former director of Unigold Inc.

Centurion also announces that, in accordance with the Company's Stock Option Plan, it has granted to certain directors, officers, employees, and consultants, incentive stock options to purchase up to an aggregate of 1,000,000 common shares exercisable on or before June 1, 2014 at a price of $0.10 per share.


Centurion is a Canadian-based company focused on the procurement, exploration and development of gold and other precious metal projects. The Company has an option to acquire up to a 60% interest in the Copper Prince Gold-Copper property in Sudbury, Canada.
