Chalk Announces Change to Board of Directors

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 18, 2007) - Chalk Media Corp. ("Chalk") (TSX VENTURE:CKM) today announces the election of two new directors, Jody Glidden and Paul Hildebrand. Mr. Glidden's election aligns Chalk's board with its focus on the development and sale of its software, Mobile chalkboard™. Mr. Hildebrand will provide direction and assistance with regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters. Chalk is continuing to seek additional candidates to serve as independent directors to aid in its growth in the mobile software space and expects to be announcing additional appointments in the New Year.

Mr. Glidden, as Chalk's Executive Vice-President, has been instrumental in the development of the company's BlackBerry® software. Prior to joining Chalk, Mr. Glidden was a founder of, which was acquired by Smartforce PLC (now Skillsoft PLC). At Smartforce / Skillsoft, Mr. Glidden was the Director of Business Development.

Mr. Hildebrand is a lawyer in the province of British Columbia and has been engaged in the private practice of law for over 25 years. Mr. Hildebrand currently practices with Wilcox & Company Law Corporation in Vancouver, with whom he has been associated since 1991. Mr. Hildebrand also worked as Vice President of Eyeball Networks Inc., a private software development company, from February 2002 to May 2003.

David Chalk and Delano Lewis have ceased to be directors of Chalk. The company thanks Mr. Lewis and Mr. Chalk for their service and contributions as directors and wishes them well.

Also, at Chalk's Annual General Meeting held December 11, 2007, the shareholders approved an increase in the number of shares reserved for issuance under Chalk's Incentive Stock Option Plan to 31,455,604, which represented 20% of the issued and outstanding shares of Chalk as at the date of the meeting. The increase is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
