ChannelNet Matches Employees' Contributions to the American Red Cross for Haitian Relief

SAUSALITO, CA--(Marketwire - January 22, 2010) - ChannelNet (www.channelnet.com), the leading provider of multichannel market places, today announced that they will match all funds donated by its employees for Haitian relief to the American Red Cross, the nation's premier emergency response organization.

"At ChannelNet we are all devastated for the people of Haiti. Being a Bay Area company we truly understand the desolation that an earthquake creates," says Paula Tompkins, ChannelNet CEO and Founder. "Matching the funds our employees donate on behalf of worthy causes encourages us all to participate in charitable activities, and leverages our donations for even greater effect."

ChannelNet's donation to the American Red Cross is one of dozens of such employee driven efforts the company has supported in recent years. Notably, employees raised significant contributions toward Race for the Cure events, Hurricane Katrina and Tsunami relief efforts, which ChannelNet generously matched. For 25 years, ChannelNet has been dedicated to promoting a caring and supportive work environment, which brings out the best in its employees.

ChannelNet also encourages people to donate through the Red Cross mobile text messaging campaign. The text messaging campaign is an innovative program that allows people to donate $10 to the International Response Fund by simply texting "Haiti" to 90999.
