Channell Appoints Managing Director of Australia Operations

TEMECULA, CA--(Marketwire - January 6, 2008) - Channell Commercial Corporation (NASDAQ: CHNL), a designer and manufacturer of telecommunications equipment supplied to operators of communications networks worldwide and water harvesting solutions distributed in markets throughout Australia, today announced that Chris Glenn has been appointed managing director of the Company's Australian operations. Mr. Glenn will oversee both the BUSHMAN water harvesting business and the Australasia telecom operations.

Mr. Glenn brings over 10 years of executive level experience with multinational entities. Prior to joining Channell Commercial Corporation, Mr. Glenn served over four years as CEO/Managing Director of Coventry Group Limited, a publicly owned diversified industrial company, and four years as General Manager of certain Australasia divisions of Tyco International. Earlier in his career, Mr. Glenn was General Manager of Energy Services business unit for Integral Energy, which is one of Australia's largest energy companies.
