Chariot Resources Announces National Designation for the Mina Justa Project

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 1, 2010) - Chariot Resources Limited (TSX:CHD) ("Chariot" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has received a formal National Interest designation for its Mina Justa Project ("Project") from the National Government of Peru. The Project has been declared to be important under the provisions of the General Mining Law specifically citing its overall future contributions to the nation.

He went on to say that "This declaration could facilitate approval of our ESIA and permits which are the last major steps prior to being able to start construction."
