Children from Make-A-Wish Eastern Ontario to enjoy Royal Princess tea party

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 10, 2010) - In conjunction with Scotiabank Place, Disney On Ice will host six girls from Make-A-Wish Eastern Ontario and their sisters at an exclusive "Princess for a Day" tea party complete with a surprise appearance by a starring character from Disney On Ice presents Princess Classics on Thursday, March 11. Following the party, the children will attend Thursday night's Princess Classics performance.

The Make-A-Wish mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Media are invited for a brief photo opportunity.

Who: Make-A-Wish girls (ages 8 – 10), their families and a guest star from Princess Classic.

What: Amid the regal setting, children from Make-A-Wish will receive royal hairstyles, decorate tiaras, learn to curtsey and wave like a princess and meet a star from the show.

When: Thursday, March 11, at 5 p.m.

Where: Scotiabank Place, Ottawa; Media are asked to use the Gate 3 entrance. Parking will be available in Lot 4.
