GOLD RIVER, CA--(Marketwire - February 4, 2010) - The Children's Internet, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CITC) announced today that The Children's Internet Holding Company filed yesterday with the United States Patent and Trade Office three separate provisional patents. The patents allow for protection concerning operating system advancements (MS window 7), and more importantly, provide security features to new Internet centered products including gaming consoles (like Wii I), personal communication devices (like smart-phones), and innovative new products based on access to Internet applications (like iPad, e-readers and touch screen slates). The provisional patents were born as a result of this wave of new Internet products that have re-landscaped the devices that children have available to access the World Wide Web.

Richard J. Lewis III, CEO of CITC stated that, "By delaying the beta release and continuing development of our core technology, including the primary components of the security process, we have been able to open the potential for safe Internet use while at the same time, the patent applications protect our unique and novel improvements." Mr. Lewis added that, "It is imperative for us to stay ahead of the innovative curve so that we can safely and securely meet the children's Internet market demand."
