China's Shenzhen Energy to Invest $1 Billion in Power Plants

BEIJING--(Marketwire - June 5, 2007) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas). China's Shenzhen Energy Corporation will invest $1.04 billion in Huiyang city and Huidong county to build a coal-fired power plant with four 1,000 MW ultra supercritical thermal power generator sets. Both the county and the city are several hundred kilometers northeast of Shenzhen, which borders on Hong Kong.
