Churm Media Hires Tina Borgatta as Editor of Recently Revamped OC METRO BUSINESS Magazine

Premier Publication and Website Provide Coverage of OC Business Landscape

NEWPORT BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - January 14, 2008) - Churm Media, a Southern California media powerhouse based in Orange County, announced today that Tina Borgatta has joined its dynamic editorial team as editor of its flagship publication, OC METRO BUSINESS.

Borgatta, who most recently served as executive editor of Orange Coast Magazine, will play a key role at Churm Media, as the company continues to lead the way as the only business magazine to cover Orange County exclusively. A broad spectrum of industries are covered by OC METRO BUSINESS through its bi-weekly print edition and its Website, www.OCMETRO.com.

"Tina is an absolute pro and we are excited to have her join our team," said Steve Churm, founder and publisher of Churm Media. "Tina brings deep journalistic ethics and experience to her new position. She knows Orange County well and will be a tremendous asset as we continue to enhance our premier position within Orange County's media industry."

"I'm thrilled to join the Churm Media family," said Borgatta, a resident of Huntington Beach. "I've been a fan of Churm's publications for quite some time. OC METRO BUSINESS is the magazine of record for the region's business community, and I'm looking forward to continuing the great work. Churm is an exciting place to be, and I'm honored to help shape the company's future."

Prior to her position with Orange Coast Magazine for the past five years, Borgatta served as assistant managing editor at The Sun in San Bernardino; staff writer at the Los Angeles Times-Orange County; and senior editor for the Times Community News Group.

"Tina brings not only experience but also a refreshing exuberance to our team at Churm Media -- all of us are looking forward to working with her as we continue our mission of providing our readers with a top-quality product," said Churm Media Executive Editor Craig Reem.

OC METRO BUSINESS rolled out a new look, including name change from OC METRO, with an expanded emphasis on business, in Fall 2007. The new OC METRO BUSINESS includes increased coverage of industries driving Orange County, such as technology, real estate, retail, manufacturing, e-commerce and leisure.

"Orange County is growing at a remarkable rate," said Churm. "And technology is growing even more quickly. At Churm Media, our goal is to keep pace and enable our magazine readers and Website visitors to be thoroughly informed."

As it has done for nearly two decades, OC METRO BUSINESS will continue to publish a variety of milestone lists throughout the year, including the annual HOT 25 List each October, accompanied by the popular must-attend event.
