Ci&T Provides Dow AgroSciences Brazil With Technical Management and Maintenance for Distributor-Support Portals

Dow AgroSciences Brazil Experiences Cost Savings, Operational Improvements and up to a 60 Percent Decrease in Some Technical-Support Calls

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA--(Marketwire - Sep 25, 2012) -  Ci&T, a Nearshore provider of value-driven web and mobile application services and software product engineering, today announced that it is providing technical support and website management and maintenance to Dow AgroSciences Brazil, the leading-edge provider of crop protection and plant biotechnology solutions. Ci&T is responsible for supporting Dow AgroSciences Brazil's Green Light Portal and AMS Business Support Service, the primary technical support channels for its thousands of distributors. 

Ci&T maintains Dow AgroSciences Brazil's Green Light Portal, an online support channel for distributors, ensuring that it is glitch-free and continuously available to customers. Ci&T's high-performance teams also provide technical support to the AMS Business Support department, which responds to calls from distributors through a toll-free hotline.

In the first six months of working with Ci&T, Dow AgroSciences Brazil experienced major operational improvements. The most notable being the reduction of recurring hotline calls, which freed up internal resources to focus on more business-critical activities. By providing technical support to the AMS Business Support Service, Ci&T is able to define the root cause of a customer problem. Ci&T provides that information to Dow AgroSciences Brazil to investigate and solve -- ensuring other customers do not encounter the same issues over and over. By mapping the root causes, Ci&T identifies the issues that generate the most calls, allowing Dow AgroSciences Brazil to fix the problems quickly and efficiently. In certain cases, the number of repeated technical-support calls has been reduced by 60 percent.
