Circulation of Hanley Wood's ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING Magazine to Rise 20 Percent

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - October 12, 2007) - Hanley Wood announced today its plan to increase the circulation of ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING by 20 percent in January 2008, adding 5,000 architects, interior designers and lighting designers to the 30,000 subscriber base.

"The architectural and lighting design communities have relied on ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING magazine as the leading independent voice of the profession for the last 21 years," says Editor Elizabeth Donoff. "The new circulation increase is a logical step in the publication's growth and evolution in a field, which becomes more dynamic and internationally-rooted everyday."

Hanley Wood purchased ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING in 2006 as a brand extension of its successful launch ARCHITECT. Already the leading authority in the lighting industry, ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING was named the best publication to cover lighting products and projects in a 2005 A|L Subscriber Survey. Its newly expanded reach means more reader input for increased content relevance.

"We have received tremendous interest from the architectural and lighting community in the past year," says Publisher Russell S. Ellis. "Such demand proves that ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING magazine's coverage and hands-on convenience has an important place in the building industry."

In addition to the print magazine, ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING produces annual supplements focusing on specialized topics, the A|L Light & Architecture Design Awards and Roundtable Discussion, and an Ozzie award-winning Web site -- www.archlighting.com.
