Cisco Debuts Industry-Leading Networkers Event in the Middle East

Under the Patronage of HRH, the Crown Prince of Bahrain, Cisco's Industry-Accredited Networking Forum Will Deliver Pioneering Innovation Technology Content for Customers and Partners Across Europe, Middle East and Africa


SAKHIR, BAHRAIN--(Marketwire - December 9, 2009) - Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) today unveiled details about Cisco® Networkers Bahrain 2010, which will take place at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, from 28 to 31 March 2010. This is the first time that the industry-accredited networking forum will be held in the Middle East. Developed in collaboration with the government of Bahrain and with the support of Crown Prince His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Networkers Bahrain represents a key milestone for Cisco in terms of furthering its commitment and ongoing investment in the Middle East.

  • Cisco Networkers conferences provide education and training to information and communications technology (ICT) professionals through compelling forums with in-depth technical demonstrations, networking opportunities and glimpses of current and future trends. The events offer unique ICT educational and networking opportunity that can enhance business growth. The global theme for Cisco Networkers 2010 is 'Knowledge Is Power.'
  • Cisco Networkers Bahrain joins the dedicated portfolio of annual Cisco education and training events that span the globe, including those in the U.S., Spain, Mexico, Argentina and Australia. It will take place at the Bahrain International Circuit, home to the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, and aims to attract more than 1,800 attendees from Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
