Cisco to Host Online Roundtable on Enterprise and Data Center Security, and to Unveil New High-Peformance Security Solutions

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - January 17, 2008) -


What: On January 22, 2008, Cisco® (NASDAQ: CSCO) will host an interactive videocast with leading network security experts from Cisco and Del Monte Foods to discuss how enterprises can protect today's media-rich applications while managing increased collaboration, rapidly growing amounts of Internet Protocol (IP) traffic, and burgeoning numbers of new devices and users accessing applications. The discussion will highlight:

--  With millions of new devices using higher-bandwidth connections, and
    rapidly growing media-rich Web 2.0 applications and traffic-intensive Web
    sites, many organizations have been challenged to secure their traffic
    growth effectively, even as security has become so critical. Furthermore,
    information technology (IT) staff are challenged to keep up with security
    event monitoring and auditing required for compliance on high-speed
    networks.
--  The new types of technology solutions from Cisco that address these
    problems by delivering unprecedented network security performance and
    remote access scalability.
--  How Del Monte Foods is architecting its network security
    infrastructure to address the challenges and requirements for enhanced
    network security protection.
--  Live questions and answers throughout the session.
    

Who: Cisco's Marie Hattar, senior director of security solutions, will host the event, and participants will include Tom Russell, senior director of product management in Cisco's Security Technologies Group, and Dennis Tokarski, manager of telecommunications and network operations at Del Monte Foods.
