Cistera Extends Event Alerting and Notification Solutions

Newest Products Enable Custom Triggering of Alerts and Delivery of Notifications to Cellular and Analog Telephones

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 29, 2006 -- Cistera Networks Inc. (OTCBB: CNWT), the leading provider of advanced IP phone platforms and application engines in the Enterprise VoIP Telephony environment, announced today that it has expanded the functionality of its popular Event Alerting and Notification Solutions offerings, RapidBroadcast™ and LandMobileRadioConnect™, with the release of Cistera QuickConnect™ for the support of notification to cellular and analog telephones.

Cistera QuickConnect works seamlessly with the company's OpenTrigger™ application programming interface (API) and with Cistera's other application engines including VirtualDirectory™ and CallCenterRecord™ Enterprise to provide the most comprehensive solution available for the delivery of outbound messaging to cellular and analog telephones. OpenTrigger, Cistera's flexible API, allows a user to set the parameters to launch notification to a select group of communication devices. Its utility is enhanced by its ability to interface with third-party integration services such as AAC's K-12 Phonetop® Student Management System. QuickConnect integrates with the Short Message Services (SMS) of most major wireless carriers, including Cingular, Verizon, Sprint and many others, to deliver real-time voice and text messaging to cell phones and voice delivery capability to analog phones.
