Cistera Networks' Expanded IP Contact Center Solution on Display at Cisco IPT Users Group Event

Cistera EnterprisePlatform Increases Cisco Unified Contact Center Sales

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 11, 2006 -- Cistera Networks, Inc. (OTCBB: CNWT), the leading provider of advanced IP phone platforms and application engines in the Enterprise VoIP Telephony environment, announced today that its recently expanded offerings supporting Cisco's Unified Contact Center Platform are available for demonstration at the Cisco IP Telecommunications Users Group (CIPTUG) Conference in Phoenix, AZ from October 9th through the 13th. Conference attendees can meet with Cistera representatives and evaluate the products at the New West Building of the Phoenix Convention Center, Booth # 318.

The recently announced QuickConnect™, CallCenterEnterprise v1.7, and the Cistera ConvergenceServer7500™ have been supplemented with the Cistera ConvergenceServer5500™ and CallCenterRecord™ Enhanced to deliver one of the industry's most comprehensive solutions to address the quality assurance and compliance issues in a contact center environment.

The Cistera ConvergenceServer5500™ is a carrier grade comprehensive convergence platform for enterprise environments with large numbers of users and monitoring requirements. Depending on the configuration, it can support up to 20,000 directory users, 250 simultaneous recorders, broadcasts to groups of 4,000 users and up to 500 concurrent conference participants.

"For the first time, all of the functionality required for effective real time supervisory capability is available in a single platform. Coaching, quality assurance metrics, dashboarding and outbound campaign management are all available on the Cistera ConvergenceServer," said Greg Royal, Cistera's chief technology officer. "By managing a single platform, users greatly reduce acquisition costs as well as the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for a contact center."

CallCenterRecord Enhanced offers enhanced supervisory capabilities including monitoring both the desktop and phone system, remote desktop recording and real-time desktop takeover. RapidBroadcast™ enables both whisper and intercom coaching. A Cistera-powered Contact Center improves quality assurance and compliance for customers and partners and dramatically increases supervisors' productivity.

"We have built out a very comprehensive solution to complement Cisco's Unified IP Contact Center platforms, from Express to Enterprise. We have won some very large Contact Center deals because of the capabilities of our agent supervisor and recording solutions and their tight integration with IPCC," Greg Royal commented. "Companies like Wayport, Amoco and Conoco Phillips all enjoy the features and functionality of the Cistera ConvergenceServer in their contact centers."

The Cistera ConvergenceServer (CCS), with its robust suite of application engines, offers customers advanced IPT applications that are easy to integrate, install and manage. The CCS adds critical competency and features such as text and audio broadcasting, messaging, recording, content streaming and two-way radio integration.
