Clean Power Technologies Inc.: Acquisition of Advanced, Environmentally Friendly CNC Milling Machine

providing greater capacity as Clean Power starts installation programme

NEWHAVEN, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Feb. 2, 2010) - Clean Power Technologies Inc. ("Clean Power" or the "Company")(OTCBB:CPWE) (FRANKFURT:C1L), developer of unique heat recovery and hybrid power systems to reduce engine emissions and enhance fuel efficiency, is pleased to announce the delivery to its facility of a highly advanced, environmentally friendly computer numerical controlled ('CNC') milling machine – the Eagle 1000 model from Dugard. This new machine complements the Company's existing Dugard Eagle 660. The Eagle 1000 machine is even more versatile, and especially suited for the larger components in Clean Power's manufacturing process now that the Company has moved from a primarily R&D focused phase to one of manufacturing and installation. The machine boasts a larger than average machine table of 1200 x 500mm with X,Y,Z axis travels of 1000mm, 530 mm and 510 mm, respectively.

The new machine will help the Company to machine – "create" or "manufacture" --specialized components for their Clean Energy Separation and Recovery (CESAR) system and this will enable it to manufacture several bespoke components simultaneously. Using the Dugard's CNC technology, designs from Clean Power's recently expanded CAD/CAM team and equipment are transmitted seamlessly to the machining table and produced with maximum precision.

Clean Power's Clean Energy Separation and Recovery (CESAR) technology is designed to increase fuel efficiency and reduce emissions by capturing and reusing otherwise wasted heat from the exhaust of a conventional combustion engine. A heat exchanger captures waste energy, which is then used to power a secondary vapour engine that generates electricity.

In a vehicle, this electricity can then be used to power auxiliary electric motors (such as reefers) and supply power to the vehicle 'primary' engine, removing the need for items such as the vehicle alternator. Power can be produced solely by the secondary vapour engine even after the primary combustion engine has shut down, via a burner.

In power generation applications the CESAR system will increase the net output of a generator by 8% without consuming any additional fuel resource.
