ClickSafety, Scout Industries Align

Partnership to Serve Small-Business Needs of Government Agencies and Contractors

ALAMO, CA--(Marketwire - January 19, 2010) - ClickSafety, the leader in online safety training, today announced its partnership with Scout Industries to provide U.S. government agencies and government contractors with learning solutions to maximize safety resources. This partnership will allow the measuring of performance, improve access to training and provide the proper implementation of processes proven to boost productivity.

Scout Industries -- a service-disabled veteran-owned small business -- provides construction and general contracting, environmental remediation, environmental planning and documentation, environmental compliance management, construction management, and project management.

Construction companies and government agencies have come under increasing pressure to provide effective safety training to both employees and subcontractors. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other regulatory agencies require safety training for employees, and new laws hold contractors responsible for the safety of their onsite subcontractors.

"As a general contractor, we know the value of having a properly trained workforce on the job site," said Dan Alderman, co-founder of Scout Industries. "As a result, we are excited to team with ClickSafety to provide the highest-quality training programs."

ClickSafety, Inc., a division of Assessment Technologies Institute, is a recognized leader in online safety training. Since 1999, ClickSafety's team of Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) and Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH) has developed the most comprehensive range of online safety courses for the construction and general industries. Using a flexible, customizable and "student-centered" e-learning platform, ClickSafety trains employees, managers and supervisors in more than 6,500 organizations worldwide.
