Climate Change and Emissions Management (CCEMC) Corporation to Announce Funding for Energy Efficiency Projects and a New Funding Opportunity

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - June 17, 2010) - Eric Newell, Chair of the Climate Change and Emissions Management Corporation, will announce funding for six energy efficiency projects, as well as a new CCEMC funding opportunity on June 23. Alberta Environment Minister Rob Renner will talk about the importance of investing in clean technology and funding recipients will also be in attendance to speak to their projects.

Note to editors: This is the second of three funding announcements from CCEMC this month. The first announcement was made June 16, regarding renewable energy projects. One additional announcement will follow later this month regarding funding Greening Energy (fossil fuel) and Carbon Capture and Storage projects.
