Cline Drilling Discovers Potential New Gold Bearing Zones at Cline Lake Gold Property and Extends Known 88-60 Gold Zone to Depth

Deep Exploration Program

The Deep Exploration Drill Program consisting of twenty (20) holes totalling 12488.7 meters (CL06-01, CL07-01 to 17, 27, and 28) was designed to systematically test the depth extension of the known gold bearing zones across the Cline Property. Previously reported assay results from this program included 34.5 feet grading 0.160 ounce per ton (opt) gold (10.5 meters at 5.49 grams per tonne (gpt)) from the 88-60 Zone in DDH CL07-02 and 25.9 feet grading 0.186 opt (7.89 meters at 6.38 gpt) from the 07-10 Zone in DDH CL07-08.

Previously announced results are highlighted by 2.6 meters of 9.94 gpt gold (from 449.2 - 451.8 meters) from DDH CL08-27 (88-60 Zone) and 3.7 meters of 8.91 gpt gold (from 734.2 -737.9 meters) from DDH CL08-28 (08-28 Zone).

Two potentially new zones of gold mineralization were intersected as a result of this drill program: the 07-10 Zone and 08-28 Zone. The 07-10 is interpreted to be an east-west trending shear zone with quartz veining hosted within a felsic intrusive while the 08-28 Zone is thought to represent a N110E trending splay off the Edwards - Cline Shear Zone.

Follow-up Drill Program on the 88-60 and 07-10 Zones

A drill program was also carried out to further define and attempt to expand the 88-60 and 07-10 Zones. Eighteen (18) holes totalling approximately 2000 meters tested the 88-60 Zone while fourteen (14) holes totalling approximately 3200 meters tested the 07-10 Zone and the nearby #3 Shaft Zone. The drilling program on the 07-10 Zone included two holes, DDH CL07-37 and 44, that were drilled to twin holes drilled by Pick Mines from 1960-63. To date, assay results have been received only from DDH CL08-31, which intersected 57.96 gpt (uncut or 31.15 gpt with assays cut to 60 gpt) over 0.8 meters (198.5 -199.3 meters) and 12.62 gpt over 0.9 meters, (206.7 -207.6 meters) from the 07-10 Zone and 12.75 gpt over 1.8 meters (79.8 -81.6 meters) from the #3 Shaft Zone.

The 88-60 Zone first identified by Noranda in 1988 is located approximately 200 meters north and sub parallel to the 07-10 Zone near the northern contact of quartz-feldspar porphyry intrusive. The 88-60 Zone is a distinct zone of silicification with quartz veining hosted by mafic metavolcanics. Assay results from drilling carried out by Noranda included 34.90 g/t gold (uncut) over 4.66 meters from DDH 90-86.

On the 88-60 Zone twelve holes totalling 2238.6 meters have been completed. Two holes DDH CL07-19 and DDH CL07-20 had to be abandoned while hole DDH CL07-18 also failed to reach the targeted depth. Previous reported assay results from holes drilled by the company included 5.38 g/t gold over 1.5 meters (138.2 -139.7 meters) from hole DDH CL07-I9A.

Cline has also begun infill sampling of the drill core in and around the known gold intercepts. Any material change(s) to the assay intervals quoted in this or previous press releases will be reported.

Sample Preparation, Analyses and Security

The aforementioned assay and sample information as well as geological descriptions are taken from drill logs as prepared by the project geologists for the drill program. All drill cores are BQ in size and assays are completed on split half-cores, with the second half of the core kept for future reference. The samples are put into rice bags which are sealed with security locks for shipping directly to Swastika Laboratories, an accredited assay laboratory, in Swastika, Ontario. The samples are analysed using standard fire assay procedures with an AA finish. In addition to the standard quality control of the laboratory, a blank sample is inserted in every shipment of 20 samples for quality control purposes. The blank is used to detect any possible contamination at the laboratory.
