Cloudbreak Announces Results of 2009 Soil Sampling in White Gold District-Several Anomalous Areas Identified

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 25, 2010) - Cloudbreak Resources Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CDB)(PINK SHEETS:CUDBF)(FRANKFURT:C6K) announces the results from the second phase of this past summer's soil sampling programs on their several prospects in the Yukon Territory near ground held by Underworld in the district. This work was performed by the Cloudbreak Resources-Alix Ventures joint-venture; Cloudbreak has since taken full control of the former joint-venture (see press release January 12, 2010).

The first phase of the work was completed by a crew from Aurora Geosciences in Whitehorse in July and August of 2009. Reconnaissance soil lines were surveyed across the joint-venture's block of 26 Mount Stewart claims adjacent to ground held by Underworld and six kilometers east and slightly north of Underworld's Golden Saddle discovery. Several anomalies ranging up to 40 ppb Au were detected; geologic mapping and prospecting by the joint-venture's geologists found float and rubble from quartz veins in the area of the anomalies.

A second phase of soil sampling at the Mount Stewart prospect by the Aurora crew tripled the sampling density to 50-meter centers on lines spaced 100 meters apart in the areas of the anomalies. The in-fill sampling failed to detect any new anomalies.

The second phase of Yukon work also included first-pass soil sampling (with samples collected every 50 meters on lines spaced 300 meters apart) on the company's blocks of 25 Strike claims, 102 Au claims and 162 Lucky claims, all to the northeast and east of the Underworld discoveries.

At the Au claims 12 kilometers northeast of the Golden Saddle discovery, three areas with anomalous soil samples ranging from 30 to 45 ppb gold were detected. Several areas with anomalous arsenic ranging from 40 to 205 ppm As were also identified, although none of these correlated with the gold anomalies. Common copper anomalies to over 300 ppm appear to correlate well with the gold anomalies.

At the Strike claims 16 kilometers east-northeast of the Golden Saddle discovery, two areas of anomalies included soil samples up to 75 ppb gold. In one of these areas, four of nine consecutive samples along 400 meters on one line contained values of 75, 40, 35 and 40 ppb Au. Permafrost precluded continued sampling at either end of the anomalies. An adjacent line returned a sample containing 275 ppm As. Numerous samples containing 40 to 80 ppm Cu were collected from the "hot" line and adjacent lines.

At the Lucky claims, mostly in the Simmons Creek drainage about 20 kilometers east of the Golden Saddle discovery, only a handful of scattered gold anomalies ranging from 25 to 75 ppb Au were detected. Arsenic anomalies from 40 to 205 ppm As do not appear to correlate well with the gold. A single bismuth anomaly at 10 ppm is from a sample site next to a 25 ppb Au anomaly and downslope from a 75 ppb Au anomaly on an adjacent line.

Again numerous copper anomalies to over 300 ppm were detected, but these do not appear to correlate with the gold particularly well.

Following a detailed review of these results over the winter, a program of follow-up soil sampling to tighten the sampling grid in identified areas of interest is anticipated for the summer of 2010, to be followed by a trenching program and likely drilling in the later summer.

Work on the Cloudbreak ground has been directed by David Hedderly-Smith, Ph.D., P.G. Dr. Hedderly-Smith has done work in similarly aged rocks in east central Alaska, 100 kilometers to the northwest, off and on since the 1970s. He is a Qualified Person as defined by N.I. 43-101, and has approved the technical information in this press release.
