Clyvia Issues Exclusive License for the Middle East

WEGBERG, GERMANY--(CCNMatthews - May 30, 2006) - In November, 2005, Clyvia Inc.'s (OTCBB:CLYV) wholly owned German subsidiary, Clyvia Technology GmbH ("Clyvia Technology"), entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with HII GmbH Industrieanlagen Bau und Beratung, a company based in Bad Soden, Germany. This agreement grants HII the right to act as an exclusive distributor for Clyvia Technology in Venezuela, Argentina, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Libya and Syria. As the United States has trade sanctions in place against Iran, Iraq, and Syria, Clyvia Technology has notified HII that they are not permitted to export any of Clyvia Technology's proposed products to those countries until those sanctions have been lifted.

HII GmbH Industrieanlagen Bau und Beratung, headquartered in Bad Soden, Germany, was founded in 1978 and since then has focused on the design and construction of turnkey industrial systems all over the world. Besides transportation technology and environmental and infrastructure systems, HII has set up production facilities in the food, construction material and heavy industry sectors. Additionally, HII provides consulting services for large-scale projects on behalf of companies and groups.

The recycling/processing systems being developed by Clyvia Technology utilize a process known as fractional depolymerization and are designed to produce heating oil and diesel out of oil-based, plastic and organic waste materials. The technology involves a process similar to cracking crude oil. Long hydrocarbon chains are split at a temperature of 400 degreesC, which are then evaporated and precipitated in a condenser as heating oil or diesel.

In addition to offering new waste disposal solutions to public and private waste management companies, the Clyvia Technology believes that its technology will offer many industrial and business enterprises with a cost-effective method for processing waste materials. Clyvia Technology hopes to be able to develop systems based on its technology capable of processing between 4,000 to 40,000 tonnes of waste per year, with the goal of being able to offer customized systems able to meet the individual needs of the operator.

Clyvia Technology is currently in the process of constructing a pilot production facility at its site in Wegberg-Wildenrath, Germany. The pilot facility is expected to become operational in June of 2006. It is hoped that this pilot facility will act as a demonstration unit and prototype for future waste-to-oil recycling units to be produced, marketed and sold by Clyvia Technology.

Clyvia Technology GmbH is a subsidiary of Clyvia Inc., a Nevada, USA corporation. Clyvia's shares are traded on over-the-counter market in the United States (OTCBB:CLYV) as well as on the stock market in Frankfurt (WKN: A0F59X, ISIN: US18975K1088).
