Coalition to Build a Better BC holds rally April 10

Rally takes place at noon at the Vancouver Art Gallery

Attention: Assignment Editor, City Editor, Media Editor, News Editor, Government/Political Affairs Editor VANCOUVER, BC, MEDIA ADVISORY--(Marketwire - April 9, 2010) - The Coalition to Build a Better BC is holding a rally to oppose provincial funding cuts.

The new, broad-based, non-partisan coalition represents more than 30 groups from the environmental movement, the arts community, seniors, students, women's groups, First Nations and unions.

The coalition is united by the belief that a better BC is possible, and the way to achieve it is to work together.

The rally is being hosted by BC singer and actor Jim Byrnes.

Where: Vancouver Art Gallery (north side on Georgia Street)
