Cogitore Expands Copper-Zinc Mineralization at Scott Lake

Cogitore intersects massive sulphides in 3 additional holes in the West Lens

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 12, 2009) - Cogitore Resources Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:WOO) is pleased to report the results of three new diamond drill holes of the Company's fall drilling program on its 100% owned Scott Lake Project. The three new holes have now extended the known mineralization first intersected in holes SC-34 and SC-40 to 200 metres (from sections 1650W to 1850W).

Results of mineralization intersected in drill holes SC-43, SC-44, and SC-45 are shown in the tables below:

All results are weighted averages based on core lengths. Based on core angles and on the current structural interpretation, the true widths in SC-43 and SC-44 are approximately 90% of core lengths whereas in SC-45 the true width is interpreted as being 57% of core length. Un-mineralized dykes within mineralized intervals are included in the calculations at zero grade. Hole SC-46, drilled 50 metres east of SC-44, intersected copper-bearing stringer-type mineralization and assays are still pending.

Dr. Gerald Riverin, the Company's President & CEO commented, "Our success rate for intersecting massive sulphides based on the new structural model has been excellent in the present drill program. We are particularly pleased with hole SC-45, which intersected high grade massive sulphides 90 metres below SC-42 (which had averaged 1.8% copper and 7.6% zinc over nearly 63 metres). SC-45 not only shows that the new structural model works well, but indicates the zone is still open at depth and appears to point towards an off-hole geophysical anomaly located another 150 metres below in hole SC-31."

The current drilling program has been undertaken in conjunction with an independent NI 43-101 resource determination of the West Lens resource, using a drill hole spacing of 50 metres over a strike length of 400 metres. A summary table showing significant drill hole intercepts by section is appended herewith and is also available on the Company's website using the attached link (www.cogitore.com). Given the encouraging results obtained with the new structural interpretation and the presence of strong conductors to the east of SC-44, Company Management has decided to immediately test these conductors with holes 150 metres and 250 metres east of SC-44. The Company will then drill two additional holes to test:

- a MEGATEM anomaly located 250 metres northwest of the West Lens; and

- an off-hole anomaly detected from drill hole SC-31 approximately 150 metres below hole SC-45.

With respect to the off-hole anomaly detected from drill hole SL-91-106E mentioned in previous press releases, the Company will drill this hole in 2010 as part of a larger program testing deeper targets.

The Scott Lake property is located 20 km west of Chibougamau, Quebec and is well serviced by forest access roads. It covers 6,414 hectares of contiguous mining claims located in portions of Scott, Levy and Obalski townships.

Work is carried out by the personnel of Cogitore Resources Inc., under the supervision of Gerald Riverin, PhD, P.Geo. He is a qualified person (as defined by National Instrument 43-101) and has more than 31 years of experience in mineral exploration.

Drill core from holes SC-43, SC-44 and SC-45 were logged and marked up for assay at the Company's secure facility in Chibougamau, Quebec. Drill core for assay was split in half. Half of the core from SC-43 was shipped in sample bags to the ALS Chemex laboratory in Val d'Or, PQ for sample preparation and subsequent analysis of the pulps at their Vancouver facilities with appropriate standards, duplicates and replicates used for quality control purposes. To accelerate assay turn-over, core from SC-44 and SC-45 were processed by Laboratoire Expert Inc of Rouyn-Noranda with appropriate standards, duplicates and replicates used for quality control purposes. The other half of the core is retained for future reference.

Cogitore explores for VMS-type deposits in areas where mineralization has been found and mined before. Exploring in such areas is preferred because of existing infrastructure, knowledgeable local workforces and broad public support for mining. Collectively, these are major competitive advantages for logistics and economics.
